What relationships and absence has taught me: for women who think they are difficult to love2/21/2016 In the passed weeks, I have shifted myself in so many different mindsets, personalities and sometimes I begin to think I am bipolar. As my boyfriend sometimes refers these 'episodes' as "my period is coming, the womanhood..hormones thing".
Its kind of funny when we make jokes about it. We laugh as women about the hard parts of life, especially the things that men don't experience as we do. For a woman, everything comes with different spectrums depending on your mood for a certain day. What most men don't understand is that sometimes we are not in our period, we weren't having a bad day at work, and maybe for a majority of us (HOPEFULLY) are not really bipolar. Sometimes the way we feel about every single thing is a constant struggle that not even us can manage, let alone you expect us to have it under control. For the women who might be thinking they are hard to love and to the men who think these women are difficult to love as well, read along.

Sometimes, we all need a reminder or different view of how we look at things. We all need love, and well.. love needs us too! If you want to know more if you are attracting the right person, or if there are 'warning signs' in your relationship that you might be able to fix..read along! Valentine's Day was last week and I can't believe it went by so quickly! Its one of my favorite holidays because you see so many happy couples, smiling faces, and just so much love being spread around. When it comes to Valentine's Day, we all get crazy and want the day spent with someone as our valentine. Let's get real, you need a valentine through out the other 364 days of the year too, but are you attracting the right type of person? What makes people compatible with each other, and most importantly how do you keep a relationship happy, and how do you know when you've found 'the one'? Too many questions, not enough answers. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on how with the help of a few changes and adjustments, you just might find your catch. The divorce rate is growing rapidly in the last years, especially on our island. It is remarkable to think that there are more divorces on average per month than there are marriages. I am not married (yet), and I don't have any children. I can't talk about what divorce feels like for the ones go underwent it, but I would rather talk about the third parties involved in every divorce: the children. For most children that experiences a separation at an early age, the reaction can vary. Not all children are as close to each parent as the other, and depending on the reason for the divorce, can all play an important role on how they deal with it. My parents divorced before I was 8 years old. I was never close with my father because of his drug and alcohol habits. To be honest, I can't even remember a Christmas that we have spent with him. It was a constant back and forth argument in the house every day that lead to a divorce when I was 8. because we never had that close bonding relationship with my father, I never really felt a gap when he left. We picked up the pieces just fine. It was very hard as the years went on. Because I was the oldest, I had a lot of responsibilities that was thrown on me to take care of. I felt like I was growing up too fast and at some point it became too much. When it's Finally Time to Let Go: How, When and Why you Should let go of Toxic Relationships1/29/2016 Thought of the week: "Two wrongs don't make a right"
"I was 17 when I got in my first relationship. I was young, did not know much about love and relationships. One thing I was sure about was that I WAS OVER THE MOON for this guy!" Have you ever been so in love with someone that everything they do you just get a blind spot for? The amount of times they verbally and physically hurt you, you just make excuses for them. "He/she loves me, he did not mean it", until it becomes the 5th time this week that you have been ditched, hurt, and abused. Toxic relationships |
